Common questions
Can I get sidewalks done without plowing?
Yes. Walkway clearing can be booked on its own, though most customers pair it with driveway or lot plowing so the whole property is handled in one visit.
Do you salt the walks as well?
Yes. Ice treatment on walkways can be included. See ice control for more on how we treat slick surfaces.
How is it priced?
Walkway work is set up on a seasonal agreement and billed per storm based on snowfall. Length of walk, number of entries and how much hand work is involved all affect the quote, so we price each property individually. Estimates are free.
Do you clear steps and stoops?
Yes, by hand. A plow cannot do steps properly, so those get cleared and treated manually.
Are you insured?
Yes, Kastor Services LLC is licensed and insured.
