Tree Trimming & Removal

A tree is an asset until the day it isn't.

Dead limbs over a driveway, branches on the roof, a tree leaning the wrong way after a storm — these get worse, not better. Kastor Services handles tree trimming and removal for homes and businesses across Rock County.

How it works

01

We come look at it

Tree work is not quotable from a description. Size, species, lean, what's underneath and how we can get equipment in all matter.

02

You get a written price

A clear scope — what comes down, what gets trimmed, what happens to the debris and whether the stump is included.

03

We do the work and clean up

Cut, lowered, hauled and raked. The property should look better when we leave, not like a job site.

Signs a tree needs attention

Most tree failures give some warning. These are the ones worth a phone call.

Dead wood over something

Bare limbs above a driveway, a walkway, a roof or a play area are the highest-priority removals on any property.

Contact with the building

Branches rubbing siding, roofing or gutters cause damage continuously and quietly, and they give pests a bridge.

A new lean or lifted soil

A lean that appeared after a storm, or soil heaving at the base, is a root problem. That one shouldn't wait.

Common questions

When is the best time to trim?

Late dormant season is ideal for most species — the structure is visible and the tree responds well. Hazardous or storm-damaged limbs are the exception; those get handled whenever they appear.

Do you take the stump too?

Stump removal is quoted separately, since it's a different job with different equipment. We'll price both together if you want the whole thing gone.

What happens to the debris?

It leaves with us unless you want the wood kept. Tell us at the quote and we'll stack it instead of hauling it.

Do you do emergency storm work?

Call or text us and we'll tell you honestly how quickly we can get there. If a limb is on a structure or a power line, contact the utility or emergency services first — that comes before any contractor.

Are you insured?

Yes. Kastor Services LLC is licensed and insured, and we're glad to provide documentation before work begins.
